After a difficult start with breast feeding, my baby had become very used to feeding on demand and falling asleep on the breast, she would nap rather than sleep for very long and at 7 months was still up every 1 ½ to 2 hours throughout the night and dozing on me in the day. I was so exhausted and unhappy I just wanted to cry and really felt I was neglecting my 3 yr old. I was very anti the idea of sleep training initially, believing we would be forced to leave Ruby to cry for hours on end but Janice’s approach could not have been different. After a structured programme and with gentle encouragement Ruby now settles herself to sleep at night and after a short time was sleeping through which feels like a miracle! Janice’s support and words of wisdom gave us the strength and motivation to tackle the sleep issue rather than just praying it would sort itself out. Everyone is so much happier, including Ruby who now enjoys a lovely long nights sleep. I only wish we had called on Janice earlier!
